Feature Request Pool
Below is a list of accepted feature requests sorted by donation amount. As a
fundraiser for the project and its authors (and perhaps contributors in the
near future), you may send a cash donation to
increase the priority of a specific feature request via
PayPal to jonathan@nuclearelephant.com.
Be sure to specify the request # of the feature you are donating to (if any).
To add a new feature to the list, please use the form at the bottom. If it is accepted, it will be added within a few days.
Feature requests with a negative priority signify
features with a minimum bounty to be considered for addition (these are
typically features that would have otherwise been rejected because they are
excruciatingly painful, but have been added to the list to give them a chance
at existence).
DISCLAIMERS:
We reserve the right to ultimately decide on the final priority of feature
additions, but we will make every attempt to respect the priority and add
features based on the donations toward them. If, however, a top feature is a
very large and long-term feature request and is blocking some easier, simpler
features, then we may work both in tandem. The list is not worked nonstop
either, and so a feature at the top of the list will not be worked
until the next round of feature requests is processed. It is still much
faster to contract important work directly to the author, where you can have
it in a matter of days. Obviously, however, features which individuals have
donated a lot to see are going to be given their due respect.
Please be aware that these are not bounties for contributions.
These amounts represent donations already collected and applied toward the
priority of a particular feature by the project authors. Unauthorized
contributors may not claim any funds in exchange for writing these
features. These feature requests are processed internal to the development
group. In the future, however, we may provide an escrow service for
providing a bounty to third parties.
